Gnathos long, longer than uncus, slightly upturned, heavily sclerotized. Valva shorter than tegumen plus uncus, narrowed at base, gradually broadened toward rounded apex. Setose patch banded. Vinculum with lateral arms heavily sclerotized along margin. Saccus triangularly produced. Aedeagus broadened in basal 3/5, then narrowed, elongated, bent process apically. Eighth tergite triangular, straight on anterior margin, bluntly rounded on posterior margin ( Fig. 48 View FIGURES 47–48 ).
Female unknown.
Distribution. Vietnam (Ninh Binh).
Diagnosis. This species superficially resembles Helcystogramma flavifuscum Li & Zhen, 2011 , but it differs from the latter by having gradually broadened valva, the cornute lateral lobe of vinculum, whereas in the latter, the valva is narrowest medially, inflated distally.
Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin - albus (= white) and macularis (= spot), referring to the white spot at costal 2/ 3 in the forewing.
