Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan (Dispons & Villiers 1967 as Rh. christophi ), Golestan (Jakovlev 1877; Hoberlandt 1959), Hamadan (new data—P. Putshkov’s collection), Kerman (Dispons & Villiers 1967 as Rh. christophi ), Khorasan (Dispons & Villiers 1967, Rahimi et al. 2010a, c as Rh. christophi ), Mazandaran (Ghahari et al. 2008a), Qazvin (Dispons & Villiers 1967 as Rh. christophi ), Semnan (Jakovlev 1877; Putshkov 2002 as Rh. persicus and Rh. christophi ), Tehran (Hoberlandt 1954; Brown 1966 as Rh. persicus and Rh. christophi ), Iran (without precise locality) (Lindberg 1938; Putshkov & Putshkov 1996).

Distribution outside Iran. Ponto-Turanian (Asian Turkey, Transcaucasia, Israel, Syria,?Asian Kazakhstan) (Putshkov & Putshkov 1996; Aukema et al. 2013).

Comments. On Rubus hyrcanus (Rosaceae) and Sorghum halepense (Poaceae) (Ghahari et al. 2008a).
