Material examined. Holotype of H. ruficeps : female ( OUMNH) “Sing[apore].”, “ Megaproctus ruficeps Smith ” and two type labels.
Note. The holotype from Singapore is identical with H. erythrocephala Cameron, 1903 , from East Malaysia ( Sarawak). It has five hamuli on the hind wing, the frons is finely striate, the third metasomal tergite is finely granulate, the triangular area of the second tergite is densely punctate-rugulose, the hind femur is 3.7 times as long as its maximum width, and the base of the hind coxa is chestnut brown.
