WL: 12mm. Mainly a forest species, G. subfacatus can also occur in degraded areas. It is known in West Africa from Guinea-Bissau to Nigeria. The host-plants are unknown, but in other species of the genus the caterpillars feed on some Connaraceae and Euphorbiaceae .
