Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 2.3–2.9 mm. Head yellow-reddish, occasionally with vertex darkened; an- tenna yellow-reddish, occasionally with antennomeres 4–10 darkened; pronotum black, except lateral regions reddish (in specimen from Gambia, Perai Memadi, prothorax completely testaceous); rest of mesosoma black or brown (in specimen from Gambia, Perai Memadi, mesoscutum and mesoscutellum testaceous, metapectal-propodeal disc brown, except anterior surface and metanotum testaceous); metasoma brown; legs yellow, occasionally except clubs of femora and meso- and metacoxa brown. Head ( Fig. 202A View FIGURE 202 ) excavated and shiny, with occiput granulate. Palpal formula 4/2. Pronotum shiny, granulate, not crossed by transverse impression or very slightly impressed ( Fig. 202C View FIGURE 202 ). Mesoscutum without lateral pointed apophyses ( Fig. 202B View FIGURE 202 ). Mesoscutum, mesoscutellum and metapectal-propodeal disc dull, granulate; propodeal declivity transversely striate. Mesopleuron and metapleuron not transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture obsolete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 9:2:3:10:15. Enlarged claw ( Figs 201E, F View FIGURE 201 ) with one small subapical tooth and few peg-like setae or bristles. Protarsomere 5 ( Figs 201E, F View FIGURE 201 ) with inner proximal serrate region and one row of approximately 26 lamellae, or 2 rows of 2 (proximal) + 22 lamellae; apex with 6–8 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
♂. Fully winged; body length 1.6–1.9 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna brown; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs brown, except articulations, proximal extremities of tibiae and tarsi whitish. Antenna filiform, with antennomere 3 less than 3 × as long as broad (4.5:2); antennomeres in following proportions: 4:4:4.5: 4.5:4.5:4.5:4:4:4:5.5. Head dull, granulate; frontal line absent; occipital carina absent; POL = 7; OL = 3; OOL = 2.5; vertex with smooth ovoidal shiny area situated between eyes and lateral ocelli (area surrounded anteriorly by strong prominent process). Palpal formula 4/2. Mesoscutum dull, granulate. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.25 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, setose, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc shiny, unsculptured, with anterior half granulate, median longitudinal furrow and two short longitudinal keels on sides of furrow; propodeal declivity unsculptured. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; 2R1 cell open; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein longer than proximal part. Dorsal process of paramere ( Fig. 200E View FIGURE 200 ) short and with apex rounded. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
