Diagnosis. Apterous ♀ of Gonatopus with palpal formula 6/3; temple without sharp carina; pronotum crossed by strong transverse furrow; mesoscutum less than twice as long as broad, without lateral pointed apophyses ( Fig. 225A View FIGURE 225 ); meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete; mesopleuron with lateral pointed prominence; metapectalpropodeal disc transversely striate, without strong median furrow; protarsomere 1 slightly shorter than 4; enlarged claw ( Fig. 215B View FIGURE 215 ) with one small subapical tooth and proximal bristles.
Description. ♀ ( Figs 216 View FIGURE 216 , 225A View FIGURE 225 ). Apterous; body length 3.2–3.9 mm. Head brown, except mandible, clypeus, malar space, anterior surface of frons and ventral side testaceous; antenna testaceous, except antennomeres 7–10 darkened; prothorax brown; rest of mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs brown-yellow. Antenna clavate; anten- nomeres in following proportions: 8:4:14:5:4:4:4:4:4:5. Head ( Fig. 216C View FIGURE 216 ) excavated, shiny, unsculptured, except occiput and temple slightly granulate; frontal line complete; occipital carina absent; POL = 1; OL = 1; OOL = 6. Palpal formula 6/3. Pronotum crossed by strong transverse furrow, shiny, unsculptured, except lateral regions sculp- tured by longitudinal keels. Mesoscutum shiny, with numerous longitudinal keels, without lateral pointed apophyses ( Figs 216A View FIGURE 216 , 225A View FIGURE 225 ). Mesoscutellum sloping anteriorly. Metanotum sloping anteriorly, transversely striate, exca- vated behind mesoscutellum ( Fig. 216B View FIGURE 216 ). Metapectal-propodeal disc and propodeal declivity transversely striate. Mesopleuron transversely striate and with one small lateral pointed apophysis. Metapleuron transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete. Protarsomeres ( Fig. 216D View FIGURE 216 ) in following proportions: 10:2:4:12:19. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 215B View FIGURE 215 ) with one small subapical tooth and three proximal bristles. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 215B View FIGURE 215 ) with inner side not serrate proximally and two rows of 3 (proximal) + 24 lamellae; apex with about nine lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

Etymology. The species is named after one of the collectors, R. Harin’Hala.
