Galumnella (Galumnella) nonporosa View in CoL sp. nov.
(Figures 1−14)
Diagnosis. Surface of body with tubercles. Entire surface of notogaster, pteromorphs and anogenital region with polygonal ornamentation. Rostrum triangular, narrowly rounded distally. Rostral and lamellar setae setiform, short, thin, smooth. Bothridial setae long, falciform, dilated unilaterally in median parts. Notogaster without median pore and dorso-lateral pore, notogastral setae short, thin. Three genital setae aligned along anterior margin of each plate. Postanal porose area absent. Leg tarsi with one claw.
Description. Dimensions. Body length 360 (holotype: male), 350–410 (five paratypes: two females, three males); width 265 (holotype), 260–280 (five paratypes). Prodorsum setae: ro (18–22), le (10–14), in (2), bs (150– 154), subcapitulum: length 75–79, width 48–54, subcapitular setae: a (20–24), h (8–12), m (10–14), adoral setae (8–10), palp: length 62–68, chelicera: length 87, epimeral setae: 1a, 3a, 3b, 4a and 4b (4–6), 3c and 4c (8–10), geni- tal setae: g 1 – g 3 (8–12), g 4 – g 5 (4–6), g 6 (8–10), ag (4–6), an 1 and an 2 (4–6), ad 1 – ad 3 (4–6).
Integument. Body color brown to black. Surface of body with tubercles, notogaster, pteromorphs and anogenital region with polygonal ornamentation.
Prodorsum (Figures 1, 5, 6). Rostrum triangular, narrowly rounded distally. Lamellar and sublamellar lines distinct, parallel, curving backwards. Prodorsal setae ro and le setiform, short and smooth, in represented by alveoli only or minute seta. Bothridial seta (bs) long, falciform, with head dilated on one side. Exobothridial seta and porose area Ad not obvious.
Notogaster (Figures 1, 3, 4). Anterior notogastral margin developed, slightly convex. Ten pairs of notogastral setae present, short, thin, smooth, setae c represented by alveoli. Lyrifissure im located between la and h 3, closer to h 3. Opisthonotal gland openings (gla) located between h 2 and h 3. Lyrifissures (except ip), median pore (mp) absent.
Gnathosoma (Figures 2, 9, 10). Subcapitulum longer than wide. Subcapitular setae a, m, h setiform, thin, smooth, a longer than m and h. Palps with setation 0-2-1-3-9(+1ω). Chelicera with a few weakly developed blunt teeth on fixed and movable digits.
Epimeral region (Figure 2). Epimeral setal formula: 1-0-3-3. Setae fine, smooth; 3c and 4c longer than others; pedotectum II (Pd II) triangular. Discidia (dis) well developed.
Ano-genital region (Figures 2, 7, 8). Six pairs of genital setae, g 1 – g 3 located on anterior edge of genital plates, longer than the other three, one pair of aggenital (ag), two pairs of anal (an 1, an 2) and three pairs of adanal (ad 1, ad 2, ad 3) setae setiform, smooth. Adanal lyrifissures iad located in preanal position. Postanal porose area (Ap) absent.
Legs (Figures 11−14). Leg tarsi with one smooth claw. Formulae of leg setation and solenidia: I (1-4-3-4-20) [1-2-2], II (1-4-3-4-15) [1-1-2], III (1-2-1-3-15) [1-1-0], IV (1-2-2-3-12) [0-1-0]; homology of setae and solenidia indicated in Table 1 View TABLE 1 . Some ventral setae of tibiae and tarsi with long cilia. Solenidia ω 1 and ω 2 on tarsi II, σ on genua III straight or weakly curved, rod-like. Other solenidia rather long, setiform, with thinner tips. Famulus short, slightly dilated and truncated distally, inserted posterior or posterolateral to solenidia ω 1.
Material examined. Holotype: male (in alcohol, GXNG01 -HR-2011), China, Nonggang National Nature Reserve (22°38’N, 107°03’E), Guangxi Province, from dark loamy soil under trees, 8 May 2011, col. Rong Huang ( GUGC) GoogleMaps . Paratypes: two females and four males (in alcohol, GXNG01 -HR-2011), same data as holotype. Eleven paratypes (four females and seven males), (in alcohol, HBSJS-LWQ-2010), China, Sanjiaoshan National Forest Park (30°48’N, 115°56’E), Hubei Province, from dark loamy soil in secondary forest, 10 Jul. 2010, col. Wenqin Liang ( GUGC) GoogleMaps .
Etymology. The specific name “ nonporosa ” refers to the absent median and dorsolateral pores.
Remarks. Galumnella (G.) nonporosa sp. nov. is most similar to Galumnella (G.) nipponica Suzuki & Aoki, 1970 from Japan in having tubercles on the body and polygonal ornamentation on the notogaster and anogenital region. However, it clearly differs from the latter by long, falciform, unilaterally in median parts dilated bothridial setae (versus comparatively short, distal half with strong barbs in Galumnella (G.) nipponica ).
