Family Bradypodidae Gray 1821 (1 genus with 4 species and 7 subspecies)

Family Megalonychidae Ameghino 1889 (1 genus with 2 species and 5 subspecies)

Discussion: Use of Folivora follows recommendation by Delsuc et al. (2001:1606). McKenna and Bell (1997) used Phyllophaga Owen, 1842, for this suborder.
