Expanathura haddae (Kensley & Poore) View in CoL ( Fig. 20 View FIGURE 20 b)
Panathura haddae Kensley & Poore, 1982: 634 View in CoL –635, figs 7, 8. Expanathura haddae View in CoL .— Negoescu & Wägele, 1984: 118.
Material examined.–Western Australia, Houtman Abrolhos Is (16°24'S, 123°07'E), coral rubble, 24 Aug 1981, NMV J1709, paratype.
Distribution: Australia, Western Australia (Houtman Abrolhos Is); coral rubble.
Remarks: The apex of the telson is more truncate than in other species and the posterior lobe of the uropodal exopod is narrower. Like E. macronesia , also from the Indian Ocean, the penultimate lateral seta on the telson apex is of a similar length to its neighbours, and the dorsal surface of the telson is covered in minute spinules (cf. E. collaris and the species from Aldabra).
