Exomalopsis (Exomalopsis) arida Cockerell, 1923 View in CoL

[ Holotype: CASC; ♀ Mulegé , Baja California Sur; 14 May 1921]

This species is distributed along the Pacific Coast of Mexico. The BBSL reports a female collected in BC; however, specific locality information is missing. We reviewed 21 specimens from from the Central Desert , Gulf Coast, La Giganta Ranges and the Sarcocaulescent Shrubland ( BCS), 17 specimens (12 ♀, 5 ♂) vouchered in CASC, and four (2 ♀, 2 ♂) vouchered in EMEC (Supplementary material 1). The CARCIB team collected 11 females and one male in BCS between 2017 and 2019. See fig. 125 .
