13. Eurema (Terias) hecabe solifera ( Butler, 1875)
WL: 19mm. E. h. solifera is a ubiquitous and very common subspecies in Guinea-Bissau. This may be considered the most common butterfly in the Afrotropical Region, occurring in savanna, cultivated areas and degraded forests. The caterpillars are polyphagous and feed on a variety of Hypericaceae and Fabaceae .
