Eupithecia impolita Vojnits, 1980 , Acta zoologica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae 26 (4): 433, figs 1, 2, 17. Holotype ♂ (ZFMK, examined), [ China]: Prov. Shansi [Shanxi], Mien-shan, 1500 m.

Eupithecia indecora Vojnits, 1981 , Acta zoologica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae 27 (3–4): 429, figs 53–55. Holotype ♂ (ZFMK, examined), [ China]: Prov. Shansi [Shanxi], Mien-shan, 1500 m (synonymised in Mironov & Galsworthy, 2013).

Hitherto known only from China (Shanxi). The only known Mongolian male has a slightly narrower valve with a more obtuse apex and a different shape to all three dentate cornuti on the aedeagus vesica from the holotype of E. impolita Vojnits. However , the shape of the dentate cornuti in the male genitalia are variable in many species of the “ satyrata ” group.
