[ Holotype: CASC; ♀ Riverside , California, USA; May 1, 1929]

Timberlake (1969) reported this species with two females collected from Sierra San Pedro Mártir in 1958. More recently, the BBPT collected 31 specimens (30 ♀, 1 ♂) in various localities, including the Baja California Mountains , Chaparral , Coastal Sage Matorral , Succulent Coastal Matorral, and the Central Desert in April 2022 and April 2023 ( MABC). See fig. 103 .
