COMMENTS: Mathews did not catalog this specimen; however, it is the only specimen from the Musgrave Range that came to AMNH with the Rothschild Collection. In addition to the S.A. White label and Mathews and Rothschild type labels, the specimen bears a yellow ‘‘ Figured’ ’ label, indicating that it was illustrated in Mathews (1920a: pl. 386, opp. p. 170, text pp. 171, 174), where it is confirmed as the type of Gerygone culicivorous musgravi .
