Range: — Costa Rica to Bolivia (BE, CH, CO, SC).

Ecology: —Uncommon; epiphytic in humid forests; 450–1700 m.

Notes: —For a discussion of this species, its geographical distribution, and similar species, see Moran & Matos (2018). Steinbach 5684 (F, K), cited by Rojas-Alvarado (2002) as a new record of E. ortegae Mickel for Bolivia, is here identified as this species.

Range: — Bolivia (LP) to northwestern Argentina.

Ecology: —Rare; terrestrial in arid valleys; 2500–3600 m.

Range: — Endemic to Bolivia ( LP); known only from the type collection made in 1863 .

Ecology: —Terrestrial; habitat and elevation unknown.

Notes: —Resembling E. heteromorphum in its small size and blade shape, but that species and its allies have subulate scales and belong in sect. Setosa .
