Revised description. Small, moderately broad fusiform shell of eight teleoconch whorls, with high conical to weakly coeloconoid spire; apical angle 32°. Protoconch low, dome shaped, of two convex whorls, diameter 900 μm, height 600 μm. Early teleoconch whorls flat-sided with three prominent spiral cords separated by slightly narrower interspaces. Later whorls weakly convex with deeply incised suture. Delicate spiral cord intercalated in interspaces between primary cords on third teleoconch whorl. Mid-whorl cord forming weak shoulder angulation around fifth whorl. Simultaneously adapical spiral cord weakens, resulting in widening subsutural ramp with two delicate secondary spiral cords. Axial sculpture restricted to subobsolete ribs and scabrous growth lines between spiral cords on subsutural ramp on last two whorls. Last whorl attaining about 61% of total height, with broad, concave subsutural ramp, weakly shouldered, convex below, strongly constricted base, bearing about 11 prominent spiral cords with slightly weaker secondaries intercalated on last whorl and base, overrunning 15 very weak to subobsolete axial ribs. Spiral sculpture somewhat irregular, cut by strong growth lines, and undulating at intersections over weak axial ribs on base. Fasciole indistinct with weak spiral cords. Aperture moderately wide, pyriform. Columella moderately excavated mid-height, transition to siphonal canal weakly angled. Columellar callus thin, indistinct. Columella bearing three folds, not visible on apertural view, but when aperture slightly rotated forward; very weak parietal denticle.Anal canal weakly incised. Outer lip thin.About eight lirae starting some distance behind peristome, extending deep within aperture. Siphonal canal moderately short, wide, deflected to the left.
Discussion. We are not aware of any comparable species.
Paleoenvironment. Unknown.
Distribution in Central Paratethys. Badenian (Middle Miocene): Făget Basin: Lăpugiu de Sus ( Romania) (Hoernes & Auinger 1890).
