Distribution. Europe, Siberia, Mongolia ( Caldara 2013a).

Material examined. Lviv Prov.: 1 spec. ( SIZK) Zolochiv Distr., Yaktoriv, P. Gankevych leg., 30.iv.1913; 1 spec. ( SIZK) Skole Distr., Tukhlia pass, Picea - Quercus forest edge, on Salix purpurea shrubs, on Populus tremula, V.M. Ermolenko leg., 4.vi.1965.

Biology. Forest edge, shrublands. Adults occur in IV–VII ( Dieckmann 1986). On Salicaceae : Salix caprea ( Penecke 1928; Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1972; Dieckmann 1986; Dedyukhin 2012); Salix repens ( Hoffmann 1958) ; S. aurita ( Smreczyński 1972; Dieckmann 1986); S. myrsinifolia , S. rosmarinifolia ( Dedyukhin 2012) .
