Features: Length 52–68 μm, width 18–22 μm, striae 9–12 in 10 μm.
Description: Valves panduriform, constricted at the center with rounded apices. Raphe fissures straight. Axial area broad, longitudinal canals linear, slightly convex on the outer margin. Transapical striae parallel at the center, strongly radiate near the apices.
Ecology and Distribution: A widespread species in marine and brackish water. Previously reported from the Gulf (Al-Yamani & Saburova 2011). Rare in Basra corals.
