Lectotype: NHMB 3900 View Materials .

Type locality: “El Mene, Provincia Falcón, Venezuela.”

Distribution: Regions 1, 2. Endemic to both sides of Cordillera de Mérida and Cordillera de la Costa.

Remarks: In the Dendropsophus parviceps species group sensu Faivovich et al. (2005).
