Deltophora typica Sattler, 1979: 276 View in CoL , 275 (list). TL: South Africa, KwaZulu-Natal, Weenen, Eastcourt, Kimbolton.
Material examined. 1♀ (abdomen missing), LepsocAfrica CRG, M1321, Gelechioidea, reared on Securinega virosa , Euphorbiaceae, Dixie Koppie, Manyeleti , South Africa, Limpopo, 24˚34’02.9’’S, 30˚52’53.9’’E, 12.v.2016 eclosed (A. & I. Sharp) ( HSS).
Biology. Larva was observed feeding on Securinega virosa (Euphorbiaceae) in late April. Adult emerged 12.v ( Staude et al. 2020: 55).
Distribution. South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Nigeria ( Sattler 1979: 277, 278).
