Records.
USA: California ( Moore 1909, Treadwell 1941, Hartman 1947). México: Cedros Island ( Hartman 1947), Acapulco Rioja (1941).
Remarks.
Dasybranchus glabrus was described from California, and recorded by Bastida-Zavala (1993) from La Paz Bay, Baja California Sur. However, upon examination of those materials we noticed that the specimens were morphologically similar to the holotype of Dasybranchus parplatyceps Kudenov 1975. Then, the record of Dasybranchus glabrus from Acapulco, México should not be considered valid because it was based on an incomplete specimen its diagnosis is brief and lacks the important features for unequivocal identification.
