C o m m e n t s: D e s c r i p t i o n b a s e d o n j u v e n i l e specimens. The type locality is given as the Niger River Valley in western Africa. Monod (1969b) reports one male and three females from Sanga, in southern Mali, but stated the determination was problematic. Barnard (1935) states that this taxon is a juvenile Ozestheria australis View in CoL . However, O. australis View in CoL is unknown outside of southern seasonally dry Africa.
