Original description: Aphanius cypris boulengeri Akşiray, 1948: 118 , figs. 13-14 [Lake Gölbaşı, in an area of three small lakes west of Besni, Malatya District, Türkiye (37°45′N, 37°35′E); no types known]. ― Synonyms: Aphanius boulengeri Akşiray, 1948 . ― Revisions: None. ― Illustration: Akşiray (1948: 118, figs. 13-14).
