Diagnosis: A smaller to middle-sized Cypridea species of an angular egg-shaped outline in lateral and dorsal view. Ventral margin highly convex. Rostrum short, not reaching the ventral line. Fairly coarse pitted depressions on the entire carapace surface.
Holotype: 1 carapace, SMF Xe 5378.
Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.76mm, height 0.49mm, width 0.36mm.
Dimensions: Figured paratype, length 0.79mm, height 0.51mm, width 0.34mm.
Remark (Bate et al. herein): Holotype, Carapace, SMF Xe 5377 lost during present authors’ work, Paratype SMF Xe 5378 figured here.
