Genus Ctenopolygnathus Müller and Müller, 1957

Type species: Polygnathus angustidiscus Youngquist, 1945 (?= Polygnathus brevilamina Branson and Mehl, 1934 ).

Emended diagnosis.—Polygnathids with platform that does not reach the dorsal (“posterior”) tip in most of the P 1 (sp) elements even at late ontogenetic stages.
