From Brazil to Gulf of California (Mexico) ( Gosliner and Kuzirian 1990; Fischer et al. 2007).
Sampling/reporting sites.
In Peru, this species was recently photographed in Los Organos (Piura, 04°10′S) on 11 March 2022 ( Torrejón 2023).
Remarks.
Originally named Flabellina marcusorum Gosliner & Kuzirian, 1990. Its presence in Peru needs be confirmed by future surveys.
