Conicera reniformis Liu, 2000: 167 View in CoL (♂, China: Guangxi).
Description. Male. Body length 1.1 mm. Frons dark brown. Supra-antennal present. Lower fronto-orbital setae absent. Lower interfrontal setae slightly shorter than upper interfrontal setae and the distance between each other equaled to that between upper interfrontal setae. First flagellomere dark brown, 0.25 mm long, with an aspect ratio of 2.13:1; arista 0.31 mm long, 1.20 times as long as that of first flagellomere. Palpus dark brown, with short setae apically.
Thorax dark brown. Mid and hind legs brown, fore leg yellowish brown. Fore tibia with 10 small near-dorsal setulae, the uppermost being longer than the rest. Mid femur without sense-organ. Wing length 1.20 mm. Costal index 0.40, costal ratio 1.86:1, costal setulae length 0.08 mm. Vein Rs with basisetula. Veins brown, except A 1 +CuA 2 whitish gray. Halter brown.
Abdominal tergites dark brown. Terminalia ( Fig. 20A View FIGURES 20 ) brown. Left surstylus ( Figs. 20B, D View FIGURES 20 ) reniform, with 14– 16 inner teeth arranged in two rows on dorso-apical edge. Right surstylus ( Figs. 20C, E View FIGURES 20 ) semicircular, with 12–14 inner teeth arranged in two rows on dorso-apical edge; basidorsal process membranous and biforked.
Female. Unknown.

Distribution. China (Guangdong, Guangxi).
Remarks. In the key of Disney (1990) the species runs to couplet 7, to C. brunella Beyer, 1958 , it differs from the latter by reniform left surstylus, absence of inner teeth on its edge and lacking lower fronto-orbital setae.
