Distribution. China (Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Yunnan), Russia (Far East).

Remarks. This species is recorded for the first time from China. In the specimens I examined, supra-antennal setae are present, it might be ignored in original description (see Michailovskaya, 2000). The species is similar to C. dauci ( Meigen,1830) , it differs from the latter by a long banded process of left surstylus, more inner teeth of surstyli, presence of supra-antennal setae and brownish fine veins.
