16. Conicera chayuensis sp. nov. ( Figs. 15A–C, 15G–H View FIGURES 15 )
Description. Male. Body length 1.13 mm. Frons brown. Supra-antennal setae present. Lower fronto-orbital setae absent. Lower interfrontal setae slightly shorter than upper interfrontal setae and the distance between each other equaled to that between upper interfrontal setae. First flagellomere brown, 0.14 mm long, with an aspect ratio of 1.52:1; arista 0.27 mm long, 2 times as long as that of first flagellomere. Palpus dark brown, with 6 short setae apically.
Thorax brown. Mid and hind legs brown, fore leg yellow. Fore tibia with 12 small near-dorsal setulae, the uppermost being longer than the rest. Mid femur without sense-organ. Wing length 1.05 mm. Costal index 0.39, costal ratio 1.73:1, costal setulae length 0.04 mm. Vein Rs with basisetula. Veins brown, except A 1 +CuA 2 whitish gray. Membrane hyaline. Halter brown.
Abdominal tergites brown. Terminalia ( Fig. 15A View FIGURES 15 ) brown. Left surstylus ( Figs. 15B, G View FIGURES 15 ) triangular, dorso-apical corner protruding, with a cluster of 10 pointed inner teeth. Right surstylus ( Figs. 15C, H View FIGURES 15 ) semicircular, dorso-apical corner with a cluster of 8 pointed inner teeth.
Female. Unknown.
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the type locality.
Specimen examined. Holotype, ♂, Xizang, Linzhi, Chayu , 19-Aug-2020, Guangchun Liu.
Distribution. China (Xizang).
Remarks. This species is similar to C. convallis sp. nov. It is distinguished from the latter by shapes of left and right surstyli and their numbers of inner teeth.
