Dec-Jan. reaching its peak in mid-Apr.); Gujarat (Koteshwar, near Ambaji near Saraswati Mukh in running water, Feb. and Oct.); Uttarakhand (Dehradun in quick flowing streams of an outlet of Dehradun water works (Aug. to Oct.); Uttar Pradesh (river Yamuna at Allahabad, on snails, Hydrilla and Vallisneria . Apr.to early Jun.; Kanpur, Jal Sansthan Aug.to Dec.); Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Adyar river in flowing water, Jan.).
