Distribution:— Brazil (microendemic).
Notes:— The description of the androecium of this species resembles that of Cnidoscolus urniger in which there is not a developed column. Also, a comparison with the holotype of the latter species shows similarities in lamina shape, despite being at an early developmental stage, and is congruent with Pax’s (1910) illustration.
