Variation. Female from Mexico has mesoscutum black but with a pair of broad anterolateral reddish brown stripes, confluent with a large reddish brown central mark.
Material examined. MEXICO. Michoacán: 1 ♀ ( UAT) Morelia, Cerro Punhuato, 19°41’876”N, 101°08’396”W, 2110 m, Àrea de Eucaliptos , Yellow pan trap, 9.vii.2010, coll. Ana L. Escalante & Jiménez.
Distribution. Mexico (Michoacán), Costa Rica, Venezuela (north). First record from Mexico.
