( KUMN) idem, on stroma of Biscogniauxia nummularia collected from log, A.N. Drogvalenko leg., 21.vii.1998 ; 4 spec. ( KUMN) 3 km S Zmiiv, Zadonetskoye , pineforest, under bark of Sorbus, V. Terekhova leg., 20.xi.2008 ; 2 spec. ( KUMN) 7 km S Zmiiv, Gaidary , Populus tremula forest, N. Yunakov leg., 11.vi.2000 .
Biology. Mixed forests. Adults occur in VI–VII, hibernating individuals are found under bark in winter. Polyphagous on Sordariomycetes (Ascomycota) fungi associated with dead wood of deciduous trees; larva develops in pycnidia. In Ukraine Ch. horni recorded on Biscogniauxia nummularia (Xylariaceae) .
