Current Status. Synonym of Chiridopsis aubei (Boheman, 1855) .

Remarks. Spaeth (1924) described this subspecies based on an unknown number of specimens without selecting one as the holotype. Therefore, all specimens are syntypes. The ZMH specimen is part of the type series, as it is similarly labeled to the specimens that are in Spaeth’ s collection. Borowiec (1986) synonymized Chiridopsis baumanni ( Spaeth, 1902) , including the herein discussed taxon, with Chiridopsis aubei . This arrangement has been followed in a recent revision of the genus Chiridopsis Spaeth, 1922 ( Borowiec and Świętojańska 2017).
