Lectotype (designated by Dvořák 1987: 562; Fig. 1 on page 563):— UKRAINE: City of Kyiv (Kiev), islands of the Dnipro (Dnieper) River [probably Trukhaniv Island— S. M.], “ Chenopodium acerifolium Andrz. an Ch. albi var.? Semina opaca! Ins. Borystheni, Kiev. A. [Andrzejowski] 36 [1836, the last digit barely legible, could be 1838, as reported by Dvořák— S. M.]”, ( KW001002888 !).

Epitype (designated here): (Label 1, by Andrzejowski) “ Chenopodium acerifolium Andrz. foliis rhombeis acutis trilobis dentatis, superioribus lanceolatis, spicis subaphyllis sinuato dentatis acutis, summis subintegerrimis lanceolatis, racemis laxis aphyllis erectis, seminibus laevibus nitidis opacis [“nitidis” crossed out in darker ink, “opacis” added— S.M.]. In insulis Kief 35 [1835—S.M.]”. (Label 2, curatorial, not by Andrzejowski) “ Chenopodium acerifolium Andrz. C. albi L. var.? Herb. univers. №6642. Circa Kioviam leg.
