Distribution. Europe except its north, Asia Minor , Northern Africa.
Distribution in Serbia. N (V), W, C, E, and S (including K) (1; 2; 5; 9; 14; 17; 21–23; 27; 39; 43; 48; 53; 54; 56; 60; 62; 68; 69; 75; 76; 80).
Remarks. Widespread in Serbia. Mostly collected in wine traps hanged on branches of deciduous trees, while in a lesser amount during the flight.

Remarks. Frequently found on flowers of hawthorn and fallen trunks in larger amounts. From lowlands to highlands.
