Diagnosis

Cautires katarinae sp. nov. is similar to C. griseus in the reddish pubescence on the humeral part of the elytra and the shape of the pronotum. It differs in the shape of antennal lamellae ( Figs 9, 11 View Figs 2–20 ). Additionally, C. katarinae sp. nov. has the robust phallus with the obtuse apex ( Fig. 67 View Figs 59–78 ).

Etymology

The specific epithet is in honour of Katerina Sklenarova, a colleague from the laboratory.
