Type material.

NHMUK 1894.6.8.7, paralectotype, T. Wolf leg. (ex Reibisch).

Remarks.

Reibisch described this species on the basis of two adult and one subadult shell. Richardson (1995: 230) suppressed Reibisch’s name on account of the supposed existence of Bulimulus wolfi Miller, 1878. In Miller (1878) no such name exists, and therefore Reibisch’s name is valid.

Current systematic position.

Bulimulidae , Naesiotus wolfi (Reibisch, 1892).
