"Long. 31-36 millim., maj. diam. 19-22 millim."; figured specimen herein H 34.3, D 23.2, W 6.3.
Type material.
NHMUK 1897.8.3.173, lectotype; 1897.8.3.179, one paralectotype, Baron leg. (ex Fulton).
Remarks.
Fulton states "Type specimens (three) in British Museum". Only two specimens have been found. This taxon is considered a junior subjective synonym of Scutalus cretaceus (Pfeiffer, 1855) by Breure (1978).
