Material examined (4 spec., 2 ♂♂, 2 ♀♀). Labeled: ‘ China, Yunnan Province (云南省), Derung-Nu Autono-
mous County Gongshan (Ḣ山DAEK怒KŊ治县), near Gong-Du Tunnel (ḢDLJDzNJữ), elevation 3500 m, 2017.07.28, Chen Chao-Ming leg.’ ( LPYC).
Distribution. Yunnan, China.
Comments. Broscosoma ribbei rougeriei was originally described from Jinping County, Yunnan Province (Ailao Mountain) and was recorded from Dali City, Yunnan Province by Sciaky & Facchini (2005), and is herein newly recorded from Derung-Nu Autonomous County, Gongshan, Yunnan Province. The nominotypical form, B. ribbei ribbei Putzeys, 1877 is distributed in Nepal and Sikkim. It can be distinguished from B. ribbei rougeriei by the dark green color instead of bright green with golden on the elytra, eyes slightly smaller and more convex and a slender pronotum.
