Material. KYRGYZSTAN: Jalal Abad Region : 2♂, 1♀ ( SMNH), Ferghana Mt. Ridge, env. of Arslanbob Town, 41°22′N, 72°58′E, 1500 m a.s.l., 23.05.1982 (S. Zonstein); 1♂ ( SMNH), same area, near Jaradar Vill. 3 km E Arslanbob Town, 41°20′N, 72°59′E, 1400 m a.s.l., 16.10.1992 (S. Zonstein) .

Comments. In the structure of the epigyne (with widely spaced epigynal teeth directed toward one another), females of Brignoliolus juglandicola resemble those of B. charitonovi . They are distinguishable by the structure of receptacles with unmodified (vs. bent) heads ( Wang & Zhu 2009, figs 19 and 8, respectively). Males of B. juglandicola differ from other known male congeners, except for B. nenilini , in possessing the bifurcated (vs. undivided) retrolateral patellar apophysis of the male palp; they can be distinguished from the latter species by the different shape of the conductor and median apophysis of the tegulum (Ovtchinnikov 1984, fig. 1; 1999, figs 35, 37, 40–42; Wang & Zhu 2009, figs 10, 22, 30; Dimitrov & Jager 2021, figs 1, 2).

Distribution. The species is only known from the type locality, the forested midlands of Fergana Ridge in the environs of Arslanbob Town.
