Description of Bosea eneae WM View in CoL 92

Cells are Gramstainingnegative, flagellated and rodshaped. Colonies grown on R2A agar medium are circular, smooth, droplike and white colored after 3 days of incubation at 25°C. Negative for glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, esculin hydrolysis, β galactosidase, indole production and gelatinase but positive for nitrate reduction and urease in API 20NE. Dglucose, Larabinose, Dmannose, adipic acid and malic acid are utilized. Does not utilize Dmannitol, N acetylglucosamine, Dmaltose, potassium gluconate, capric acid trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid. Strain WM92 (= NIBRBA 0000115022) has been isolated from fresh water, Changnyeong, Korea.
