Genus Ventrolidia , gen. nov.

Type-species, Boliviela ortha DeLong.

Ventrolidia paraortha (Nielson) , comb. new

Moderately large, slightly robust species, 7.80–8.90 mm. General color dark brown to black with ochraceous to pale translucent markings on forewings. Head narrower than pronotum; crown narrower to as broad as width of eyes, produced distally beyond anterior margin of eyes, lateral margins carinate; pronotum, mesonotum and forewing venation as in Boliviela ; clypellus broad, inflated basally; male pygofer large with 2 very prominent caudal processes; aedeagus tubular with 2 very long, distinctive ventral processes; style very long, inflated in distal ¼; dorsal connective bifurcate basally, enclosing aedeagal shaft, attached to base of ventral processes.

Remarks. This genus was formed by fragmentation of Boliviela from which 2 species were removed to comprise the new genus. The aedeagus processes separate the genus from all other genera in the Boliviela genus group.
