Coloration. Body yellowish brown with reddish brown lateral stripes, from head through eyes to tip of tegmen; sub-lateral stripe golden yellow; vertex with 2 pairs of brown lines, inner one light brown, outer markings reddish brown. Lateral view, eyes dark in middle. Pronotum yellowish brown, lateral areas reddish brown; tear like marks surrounding with dark reddish brown. Dorsal surface of hind femur marked with brown.
External morphology. Head subquadrate in dorsal view, lateral margins produced laterally behind eyes, eyes as wide as long; head a little longer than widest part about 1.1:1. Frontal rostrum very elongate, distinctly produced; middle ocellus elliptical, on tip of frontal rostrum; head wider than widest part of frons and wider than frontal rostrum about 7.4: 6.0: 1.0. Eyes oval, protruding on lateral margins of vertex; eyes longer than wide about 1.8: 1, eyes shorter than head in middle long about 1:3.2; antennal scape sub-elongate, longer than wide about 1.5: 1, about 0.4 times as long as head; Head longer than pronotum about 1.4:1, head as wide as pronotum at anterior margin; anterior margin of pronotum as wide as posterior one.
Head in lateral view triangular, dorsal margin straight, frons reclined caudo-ventrade; superior margin of antennal socket shorter than diameter of eyes about 1: 1.1; posterior margin of antennal socket foliate, produced anteriorly, anterior margin sinuate. Maxillary lacinia acute, inner margin straight; maxillary palpi 5 segmented, 1st:2nd:3rd =1:1.5:1.1; labial palpi 3 segmented, 1st:2nd:3rd = 1:1:1.7.
Head in anterior view polygon; frons shorter than face about 1: 2.3, shorter than mouth part about 1: 1.3; lateral margins of frons divergent ventrally; width of frons narrower at narrowest than at widest part of the level of lateral process of frons about 1: 7; lateral process of frons acute at apex reach at joint of antennal socket and eyes. Pronotum saddle like in dorsal view, anterior margin slightly curved inward; posterior margin bi-sinuate, arched posteriorly at middle; lateral margins formed caudo-lateral angles. Pronotal disc with anterior portion narrower than posterior portion; middle line shorter than length at lateral margins about 1:1.2; shorter than anterior wide about 1: 1.3. Pronotal lateral lobes straight on dorsal margin, anterior running into ventral margin roundly then slowly upward dorsally; dorsal length of pronotum longer than width of widest part at level of posterior margin about 1.4: 1. Metanotum with metanotal gland, concavity in the middle with prominate margins, longer than widest about 1.3:1; middle transverse ridge prominent distinct; anterior margin of anterior concavity straight; lateral margin slightly curved outward; posterior margin arched inward; concavity quadrate, equal in length; anterior margin of posterior concavity curved and mosaic with posterior margin of anterior concavation.
Tegmen longer than wide about 3.5: 1, about 1/1.8 of body length, apex reaching at abdominal segment VII; Veins divergent laterally without stridulate organ.
Fore-tibia with tympanum on both sides, inner about 1.3 times of outer; 1st tarsal segment with 3 white prominent pulvilli, 3rd segment large and expanded; inner margin of claws with spine near apex.
Hind femur not reaching at abdominal tip, femur as long as tibia; lateral spines of hind tibia i/o = 13/9, inner side 4 groups, 13 spines and (intercalary)= 9(1)2(1)1(1)1, 5 basal teeth, outer side 3 group, 9 spines and (intercalary)= 5(1)2(1)2, 16 basal teeth.
Male genitalia. In dorsal view, epiphallus elongate elliptical, anterior margin cleft at middle formed V-shape; epiphallus about 2 times of cornua. Cornua single lobe, massive, sub-elliptical, about 1/3.5 of male genitalia in length, posterior margin curved inward, longer than widest wide in middle line about 1.5. Epiphallus in lateral view with cornua long, rectangular; cornua with posterior margin curved upward, pointed dorsally; rami reaching at base of epiphallus, ectoparamere exposed. Cornua in ventral view with lateral margins curved upward and mesad, dorsal area visible; ectoparamere minute, about one seventh of cornua, about 2.5 times as long as widest width, median lobes reaching at apex of ectoparamere. Ectoparamere semispherical, truncate at apex, Inner margin straight, outer margin arched. Apodeme long, bifurcate outer branch long contact ectoparamere, inner one short contact median lobe.
Subgenital plate oval in dorsal view, longer than widest part about 2.4: 1, lateral margins curved inward, curved part about 1/2.1 of the length of subgenital plate. Distance between curved margins in nearest part closer than widest part about 1: 2.6.
Female genitalia. Ovipositor long and straight, equals to body length, sword part expanded, about 1/2.8 as long as length of ovipositor. Cross section wider than height about 2: 1.

Remarks. This species similar to B. luteolus in features, the major differences are frons-vertex angle (70 degrees) less than right angle of that in B. luteolus ; frontal rostrum narrower than apical part about 1:7.4, but in B. luteolus the ratio is 1:9.2. Some characters differences please referring to table 10.
