D i a g n o s i s: For recognition see key.
D e s c r i p t i o n m a l e: Body length 9.2 mm. Color: Black, with the following parts pale yellow: labrum, clypeus, space above clypeus, inner eye margin, scape and flagellomeres ventrally, narrow band on pronotum, pronotal lobe, band on mesoscutum laterally, small spots on scutellum laterally, band on metanotum, small spot on mesopleuron, narrow and double indented bands on T 1-6, lateral spots on S2-6 (of S2 large), medially connected by a thin band. Legs yellow, trochanters with black, femora with black band in basal half dorsally. Size of mesopleural and scutellar spots variable, these on mesopleuron may lack. Morphology: Spine of inner hindfemur 0,8x-1x as long as hindocellar diameter. Hindfemur see fig. 33, T 7 see fig. 34.
D e s c r i p t i o n f e m a l e: Body length 8.5-9.0 mm. Color: Black, with the following parts lemmon yellow: labrum, clypeus, space above clypeus, inner eye margin, scape and flagellomeres ventrally, narrow band on pronotum, pronotal lobe, band on mesoscutum laterally, large triangular spots on scutellum laterally, band on metanotum, narrow and double indented bands on T 1-5, lateral spots on S2-5, in first tergites medially connected by a thin band. Legs black, fore- and midfemora with black spots dorsally, hindfemur black except its apex. Face see fig. 36.
E t y m o l o g y: The species is named after the type location, the Jebel Hafit, a mountain situated on the border between the United Arab Emirates and Oman near Al Ain.
