Distribution in India: Maharashtra (in a low altitude stream near Dapoli, in Konkan).

Notes: This species was listed by Chaugule (2004) without an accompanying description. Kumano (2002) stated that it is known only from the original collection and description based on material collected from Malaysia (Ratnasabapathy & Kumano, 1982). However, its range of distribution is extended currently to China ( Shi et al. 2006; Guiry & Guiry 2017).
