Description. Dark green, head and thorax green, without markings, forewings apical smoky, without marks; others pale yellow or stramineous, head, thorax and forewings with lots of black or brown spots. Head narrower than pronotum. Aedeagus with dorsal apodeme very short or small and shaft abruptly tapered, elongate, filamentous.

Wufeng, Houhe Township, 13.vii.2006, 1187m, Coll. Lu Lin; 1 male, Sichuan Prov., Mt. Emei, 15.viii.2002, Coll. Wei Cong & Shang Suqin (light trapped); 4 males, 7 females, Shaanxi Prov., Liuba County, 3.viii.2004, 1215m, Coll. Lu Lin; 1 male, Gansu Prov., Kang County, Heimaguan, 13.vii.1998, Coll. Distribution. China (Zhejiang, Fujian, Henan, Hubei, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Xinjiang), Russia.
Remarks. This species is somewhat similar to B. sternalis , however, B. versicolor has a broader and longer pronotum, with several brown spots and the vertex is more angularly produced, longer in midline than next eyes. In the male genitalia of B. versicolor has the aedeagal base shorter and the shaft less tapered to a filament.
