26. Atta nigriventris   HNS . B.M.

Worker minor. Length 1 line.-The head and thorax ferruginous; the abdomen and legs black, entirely smooth and shining; the antennae fuscous; the articulations of the legs and the tarsi pale ferruginous. The thorax with a deep strangulation between the meso- and metathorax, the latter with two minute upright spines.
