Atoposmia View in CoL specializes on pollen from Penstemon Schmidel ( Fowler 2020) View in CoL . This species was previously reported by Ayala et al. (1996) in BC. The BBPT collected it in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra Juarez and Sierra San Pedro Mártir (22 ♀, 7 ♂) and Chaparral (1 ♂) in May 2022. Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB.
