Specimens examined. No specimen available for this study.
Diagnosis. Atholus crenatifrons is described as possessing a deep notch above the antennal insertions on its anterior edge margin of the head. The lateral stria of its pronotum is straight and non-hamate on the apical tip. The external subhumeral stria of this species is almost complete, abbreviated shortly on both apical and basal ends. Also, the pygidia of A. crenatifrons is irregular, and not closely nor coarsely punctured.
Distribution. Indonesia: endemic to Sumatra Island ( Fig. 12 View Fig ).
